Our commitment
Unhectic Limited is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible, including those who use assistive technology and those who navigate without a mouse. Our target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, Level AA. We treat accessibility as a baseline expectation of professional engineering work, not a separate workstream that is bolted on at the end.
Conformance status
As of the version date at the top of this page, this website is in good conformance with WCAG 2.2 AA. We test the most-visited pages with a combination of automated tools (Lighthouse, axe) and manual checks at each major release. Manual checks include keyboard-only navigation, screen-reader spot checks on representative pages, and verification of colour contrast against the WCAG ratios. Where our automated tooling flags an issue, we triage it against impact and either resolve it before release or record it in the known-issues list below.
Known issues
We are aware of the following items that may not yet meet WCAG 2.2 AA. We are working to address them:
- Some interactive animations (the magic cursor and hero parallax effects) are decorative only. They respect the user’s
prefers-reduced-motionsetting where the underlying library supports it; we are working to make this explicit across all components. - The cookie consent banner uses a focus order that we believe is correct, but we have not yet completed an end-to-end keyboard audit. This is on our improvement plan.
If you encounter an issue that is not in this list, please tell us — we treat reports from real users as a higher signal than any automated audit.
How to report accessibility issues
If you encounter any accessibility barrier on this site, please email [email protected] with the URL of the page, a description of the problem, and any assistive technology you are using (for example, a specific screen reader and browser combination). We will respond within five working days and aim to remediate confirmed issues within 30 working days, or sooner where the impact is severe. If a fix will take longer, we will explain why and give you a realistic date.
Enforcement
In the United Kingdom, the Equality Act 2010 places a duty on us to make reasonable adjustments. If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility issue, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) at https://www.equalityadvisoryservice.com/. You may also follow our Complaints Procedure to escalate the matter inside Unhectic Limited.
